The Foster Woods Folk School Newsletter

Monday the United States we remember, honor, and celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. While many of our elementary school classes will be meeting, we will be taking time at the beginning of each class to talk about the holiday, the reason for the holiday, and the legacy of Dr. King. This is one way we can help keep the dream alive!

Study hall begins on Wednesday night for students enrolled in semester courses. Study hall will meet from 6-7 p.m. most Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the semester. Students are not required to attend study hall, but may choose to attend when they have questions or need extra help. Students can also attend because they want to be with other students while working on homework. You should have a link to study hall in your classroom. If you don't see the link or have questions, message your teacher.

The Eco-Social Justice Club meetings are beginning. Eco-Social Justice Club is open to all students who have completed or are enrolled in a middle school or high school social studies or history course and who are between the ages of 13 and 18. Check out the Eco-Social Justice Club by clicking here.
